The EX Professional Series is the Extreme Tools® flagship series that started it all! We wanted to build the best professional tool box on the market, but still make it affordable. We did it! The Extreme Tools® engineers designed this series with the professional in mind and incorporated exclusive, patented features that make it stand head-and-shoulders above the competition. What makes the EX Professional Series so EXTREME?

Our engineers know that an exceptional tool box must begin with a firm foundation. So, we designed the strongest chassis on the market. Our industrial-strength frames are constructed with 11-gauge steel to support a fully loaded cabinet along with a chest or hutch and side cabinets. Plus, our standard 6”x2” casters hold up to 900 lbs. each, or you can upgrade to spring-loaded casters that hold up to 1,250 lbs. apiece.

Our drawers are built to handle whatever you load in them, too. Not only do we use heavy-gauged powder-coated steel, but our engineers developed a patented design that gives them their super strength. Each drawer is constructed with a double steel wall drawer front, double channel spot-welded support brackets under the drawer, and a specially designed back panel that makes each drawer extremely rigid and strong. No sagging, warping or flexing because they are “Built to the Extreme®.”

The drawers are only as good as the slides that support them. Our team created an exclusive double-slide system that improves drawer stability. Even if they are loaded with the maximum 600 lbs. (double slides,) the drawers will still operate smoothly. Plus, this system has been devised to be modular so that the drawer configuration can be easily rotated to suit your needs.

Safety and security are always considerations in the development of a tool box. From drawer pulls to latching systems to locking your valuables, we have you covered. The EX Professional Series is available with your choice of drawer pulls. We offer a traditional drawer pull that uses detents, or we offer our patented, Professional Quick Release, secure self-latching drawer pull. The Quick Release drawer pull is fastened across the front of the drawer for a sturdy feel and uses heavy-duty latches on the sides of the drawer. This rugged yet sleek design never pulls away from the drawer front and allows you to open the drawer with one hand.

Especially if you are on the job, keeping your personal items and tools safe is a concern. Therefore, a locking security drawer is included in the roller cabinet so your valuables will remain safe whether your box is locked or not. To increase security even more, the patented drawer latch assembly is constructed with a self-adjusting spring lever that adjusts so the latch does not wear out over time and keeps the drawers closed. To keep your tools safe, this series uses a secure tubular, coded lock and keys. The lock bar assembly uses a single cylinder lock design so that accessing your tools is quick and easy.

A super strong tool box also needs to look good, so we took care of those details, too! There are no visible spot welds on the drawer fronts, hutch or side cabinet. This means you get a smooth, clean, professional look. We use a specially formulated AkzoNobel powder-coat finish to provide a flawless, high gloss exterior that resists chemicals, scratches and stains. Plus, we use the highest quality extruded, anodized, polished aluminum for drawer pulls that resist oxidation and give the tool box a professional look.

To complete the smart, clean look of the EX Professional Series, we went the extra mile in finishing features. The roller cabinets and hutches come standard with built-in, high quality 304 grade stainless steel work surfaces. The Extreme Power Workstation® hutches also have an adjustable stainless-steel shelf with a built-in power strip, and they come fully assembled with all welded seams.

The full EX Professional Series set up includes side lockers. Extreme Tools® side lockers provide the extra storage you want. They have four drawers that use the same heavy-duty slides as the roller cabinet plus two adjustable, pull-out shelves with slides. To achieve the eye-catching professional look that stands out, Extreme Tools® engineers created an “extreme” mounting bracket that attaches under the roller cabinet and the side cabinet. This bracket is so strong that there is no need for unsightly, additional casters.

PWS Series

Extreme Tools® PWS Series takes tool storage to a whole new level. These state-of-the-art tool boxes have been one of our top sellers for years! Our Extreme Portable Workstations® make organizing and storing your tools easy and convenient. These compact units hold over 250 tools and allow you to easily find what you need at a glance.

What makes the PWS Series Extreme?

Extreme Portable Workstations® are designed to make your life easier when it comes to keeping track of your tools and storing them. There are pegs, slots, and holders for a variety of hand tools: combination wrenches., screwdrivers, nut drivers, ratchets, extensions, deep & shallow sockets, specialty tools and more… Every square inch of space is utilized in the most efficient way. The socket pegs are attached to panels which lift or to drawer fronts that open to reveal even more storage. Plus, to make them convenient, they are outfitted with a 3-outlet power strip with 2 USB ports and a power tool rack that can hold up to 4 power tools so you can lock it up and keep your power tools charging. The closed, locked lid safely holds the tools in place even if you are traveling with it.

The PWS Series is built to be tough. We start with heavy-duty 16-gauge steel to create each workstation. All seams are welded so they are strong and resistant to water. The lids have weather stripping along the interior edge to further resist water and dust from getting inside when they are closed. A weather-resistant, textured powder coat finish is applied to each workstation to resist chemicals, scratches and stains. Two of the Extreme Portable Workstations® are designed to be in a workshop or to travel in a work truck or UTV. Your tools are held in place with the locked lid.

If you are looking for a bigger unit with even more innovative storage features, the PWS Series offers that, too. The 41” Deluxe Extreme Portable Workstation® is the top-of-the-line version of our workstations. Along with holding and organizing over 220 small hand tools, sockets, screwdrivers, nut drivers, ratchets, etc., this model has a built-in 29-piece drill bit holder and 6-piece pliers rack. The socket pegs and small parts trays are attached to 2 drawer fronts that pull out to reveal even more storage. The drawers can be fully loaded because they use 100 lbs. full-extension, ball-bearing slides. The deluxe features don’t stop there. This patented design also has a power tool rack with a 3-outlet and 2 USB port power strip. So, you can lock it up and keep your power tools charging.

The deluxe model takes the workstation design beyond just our basic models and has even more innovative features, but please note that this unit intended for indoor use only. There is a pull-out side shelf which makes a convenient work surface and a side drawer. The side drawer is unique because it has a built-in power strip and is large enough to hold up to a 17” laptop. So, if you need to look up anything on your computer, everything is right there at your fingertips… easy and convenient.

RX Professional Series

The Extreme Tools® RX Professional Series was developed with the quality and features that a professional tech needs in a tool box. We have built our reputation on giving you the best tool boxes at the best prices, and the RX Series is no exception. Extreme Tools® engineers created a product line that is strong and durable while providing a huge amount of storage capacity. What makes the RX Professional Series Extreme?

Extreme Tools® uses the highest quality components to manufacture our tool boxes. Our engineers know that a tool box is only as strong as the frame on which it sits. Therefore, we build our frames to be a strong and solid foundation for our cabinets. The RX Series uses heavy-duty, powder-coated 12/14-gauge steel construction to build our frames. Then, we install heavy-duty casters that can hold up to 900 lbs. each so you can load up the roller cabinet and know that it can handle all that weight.

The engineering team paid attention to the details when designing and patenting the RX Series Quick Release self-latching drawers pulls. These full-width drawer pulls are made from the highest quality polished, extruded anodized aluminum and come in a variety of colors. Extreme Tools® patented design allows you to easily and conveniently open the drawer with only one hand from any place on the drawer pull. Our unique design secures the drawer pull across the entire width of the drawer – not just on the ends. This makes it stronger, sturdier, and more secure.

• 72” and 55” wide cabinets have extra deep and 3 extra-wide drawers to accommodate long, large or bulky tools – we tried to give you a place to store just about everything.
• Choose the drawer load capacity that suits your needs: 100-200 lbs., 150-300 lbs. or 250-500 lbs. per drawer.
• Full-extension ball bearing slides on each drawer with structural support behind the drawers prevent them from overshooting the back of the slides.
• Added internal support under the long drawers provides strength and rigidity while also preventing warping or twisting.

Extreme Tools® engineering goes beyond our roller cabinets. We have also patented Extreme Power Workstation® hutches which are one of the most popular add-on pieces that we offer. The RX Series hutches feature a matching, adjustable powder coated steel shelf which has laser cut openings that allow you to organize and store a variety of small hand tools. We have also included a 3-outlet power strip with 2 USB ports so you can work without a tangle of extension cords getting in the way. When you are done for the day, you can lock it up and leave your tools charging so they are ready to go when you return. The sides of the hutch are constructed from heavy duty steel peg board which has the same high quality AkzoNobel powder coat finish as the roller cabinets. There is loads of space for hanging tools to keep your workspace clean. Plus, the shelf has been engineered to hang accessories such as the power tool rack, socket holder or media/tech holder with charging pad. These convenient accessories keep tools organized and within easy reach.

The RX Professional Series product line includes more than just roller cabinets and hutches. The 72” and 55” models offer top chests and side lockers. A side box is also available for some models. The 41” RX model also offers a top chest as well.

To make this series one of the best that money can buy, we also took care to provide those extras that add up to make a big difference. All the finishes are a specially formulated AkzoNobel powder coat specifically designed to resist chemicals, scratches and stains. We only use the highest quality, cold-roller extruded, polished, color-anodized aluminum drawers so you never have to worry about oxidation or yellowing. We always include PVC drawer liners and a PVC laminated MDF work surface to protect the top of your tool box. We also offer 72” and 55” optional stainless-steel work surfaces made from professional quality 304 grade stainless steel. Finally, when it comes time to lock it up, all the tool boxes come standard with secure, tubular, coded locks with 2 keys. We know how important all the details are! TX Series

Extreme Tools® TX Series are the tool boxes that travel with you. We built this line to be tough so you can take your tools where you need them. The TX Series tool boxes are designed to suit your needs for tool storage when you are on the go whether indoors or outdoors.

What makes the TX Series Extreme?

Extreme Tools® has you covered no matter how you need to get your tools from place to place. The TX Series gives you choices that work. The Extreme Tools® Road Box and Pit Box are the answer to on-road travel or transporting over uneven indoor/outdoor surfaces.

If you need to hit the road with your tools, we offer the patented Extreme Tools® 36” Deluxe Road Box. Extreme engineering went into making this the toughest, sturdiest road box of its kind. Our team designed it to hold up whether it is on the back of your truck, on the jobsite or in your shop. This box is built to take it. The reinforced frame is constructed with 16 and 18-gauge powder coated steel and 1” x 1” square steel tubing that protects the contents of the road box, provides a convenient hook point for chains, and makes it easy to move. We know that a fully load box is heavy. So, the road box has been engineered to accommodate standard material handling methods and equipment to move it or to install optional casters to give you the ability to move the box around within the jobsite.

The strength and durability of this patented Road Box does not stop there. We also manufactured it to hold up to outdoor exposure. Along with weather-resistant features like a textured, powder coat finish and all welded seams, the road box was engineered to channel water away from the inside of the box. When the lid is closed and the drip trough is engaged, water is carried away from the interior of the box and the tools.

The design of the drawers is also a factor in this expertly crafted tool box. The drawers are specially reinforced so they will not bend or sag from the added pressure of shifting or bouncing contents during transport. We use 150 lbs. friction slides which hold up under stress. The drawers are held closed by the locked lid during travel.  As always, to protect the drawers, we include professional PVC drawer liners.

If you need to move a loaded tool box across a larger area or uneven ground, Extreme Tools® has you covered with the TX Series 70” Pit Box. This unique tool box on wheels is built on a sturdy frame and comes equipped with 4 heavy-duty pneumatic tires that allow you to move the Pit Box over smooth or uneven surfaces. The T-shaped handle makes the box easy to maneuver and has brake controls built into the handle. The disc brake lets you lock the wheels in place when you reach your destination. Plus, it comes with a built-in professional 304 grade stainless steel top, so you have a spot to work on-site.

The Pit Box has plenty of storage for both large and small items. It comes equipped with 2 storage compartments that each have an adjustable shelf. There are also 7 drawers that use full-extension ball bearing slides. Drawers with single slides hold up to 100 lbs., and deep drawers with double slides hold up to 200 lbs. Plus, each drawer has a self-latching handle so that the drawers stay securely closed. So, if you are in the shop or in a racing pit, you are ready to go with our Pit Box.
